Google tells us there are 4 billion websites- almost one for everyone on the planet. And today you have decided to make it 4 billion and 1. So, do you think- “If I build it, they will come?” seriously? It ain’t going to happen, unless you stand out. So do you think your 10 year old nephew who can code html (which I believe they now learn in pre-school, just after they have done the alphabet) is going to make your site the next eBay? Let me give you a few questions to ask yourself before you double his pocket money.

1. What is the purpose of your website?

In business, there are three main types of websites:

• the brochure site

• the lead generator site

• the online shop

The brochure site is an online support to your offline marketing. You will refer to it in your ads, because you pay for ads by the square inch, and acres are cheap on the internet. You will refer to it in your Yellow Pages ads, your business cards and your brochures. An online presence will give you a credibility that your competitors without a website (getting fewer every day) don’t have. But in the end it is just an online version of a tri-fold a printer might do for you. There is nothing wrong with a brochure site, if this is all you want in your marketing plan.

The next step up is a lead generator site. Unlike a brochure site, you want it to generate business on its own. You want people to find your site while browsing on the internet, and having seen your site, feel compelled to call or email you. After that contact is made, hopefully a sale will follow.

The last option is that your website is a storefront where visitors to your site can actually purchase products and services. In other words, after finding your site, and viewing your content, they are compelled to “click here” to make a purchase.

There is a fourth type of website- the vanity site. But financial rewards are rarely connected to this type of site.

Of course a website may be a mixture of these three (or four) types, but unless you have defined your business model, the purpose of your site, it will be a waste of electrons.

2. How will people find your site?

You already know there are 4 billion sites, so the likelihood that a buyer will find it by chance are somewhat remote. And if you calculated the cost per lead on that basis, you would never build such a site. Your business website exists only for one purpose, to make you money- irrespective of the business model. It must pay its way. So if no-one visited your site, why would you pay for it to exist?

Therefore, you must have a strategy to ensure people know your site exists and that there is a reason they should visit it. How can you do that? There are two basic strategies, offline and online.

An offline strategy is based on all your offline marketing- ie advertising, public relations, networking and cold calling. In every case you would refer leads to your website where they can find out more about what you can do for them, and why they should choose you. Your website would build on your offline promotions giving further details of your service, educating your customer and creating credibility for your business.

An online strategy will be built around visibility. The key elements of this are:

• Search Engine Optimisation

• A strategy to get links to your website

• Online advertising

3. What are you going to do to make visitors linger at your site?

The average website visit is 68 seconds. How many widgets do you expect to sell in that time? You must have a strategy to make people linger at your site, get to know you and see the value you can give them.

The three secrets for making people linger are CONTENT, CONTENT, CONTENT.

To get visitors to stay, you need to give them information that they want. This will not be information about you (at least not on the home page). Your

goal should be to educate your visitor. Give them information they will not get elsewhere on how to solve the problem that caused them to search for you in the first place. If you website is just sales hype, your visitors will be gone in a lot less than 68 seconds.

4. What do you want visitors to do once they are at your site?

Many would say- “Buy lots of stuff from me.” Well, in your dreams! Most people will not buy from you, or call you on the first visit to your site. They don’t know you (unless an offline relationship has been established). And unless you are selling a commodity, that is the same on every site- eg CD’s, and you are competing on price, you need to be able to establish a relationship. To do this, you need to give visitors a reason to give you a way to stay in contact. This could be by way of a newsletter, or through a free download of information requiring their email details. When you do this, it is essential you provide an unsubscribe option, because otherwise you will be spamming. And there are no rich spammers (although I believe there are rich people selling spam technology).

5. How are you going to get people to come back to your site?

On average, four out of five website visitors will never come to a website. And if they only stay 68 seconds, it’s going to take you several lifetimes to become an internet millionaire. To get people to come back you need to do several things:

• Have sufficient quantity and quality of content, that the visitor will bookmark your site to come back for more

• Continually add to and change the content to make visitors want to come back

• Provide special offers to your subscribers that will encourage them to revisit your website

If your website never changes, why would anyone want to come back?

6. How are you monitoring going to monitor the results of your website?

No-one can guarantee what is going to work for you. Therefore you have to measure your statistics. A good webhost will provide you with a statistics package that will tell you how many visitors you have had, when they visited, how they found you and what they did at your site. When you make an offer, make a change to your site, or undertake some marketing campaign, whether online or offline, check the response on your statistics, and the conversions that you have achieved on your site. Do controlled experiments. Don’t change too many things at one time, because you will never know what caused the change. Find out what works, and what doesn’t. And when you find a good thing, stick to it!

7. Are you really going to trust your 10 year old nephew to do all this?

You may not be using your 10 year old nephew, you may be using a graphics design company instead. But don’t confuse determining your website business model and marketing strategy with the colour and movement of your website graphics. As a general rule of thumb, the flashier the website, the worse it is commercially. (Check out eBay and Amazon- how flashy are their sites? But is there a clear business strategy?) You will need someone to do the html programming, but almost certainly, someone who is good at that will not be good at everything else. A website is just another marketing tool. Like a brochure. Would you get your printer to write your advertising copy?

I don’t suggest that you should not use a great website design company (or even your precocious nephew) to build your website, but don’t let them be in charge of your marketing!

“The Money Is In The… LIST!”

I bet you’ve heard this catch phrase once or twice while surfing around on the Internet.

I know I have.

But, the question that usually arises is… “How do I effectively build one that won’t cost me an arm and a leg in the process?”

Well, today’s your lucky day because I’m going to highlight 3 of the MOST powerful ways to build your targeted ‘Opt-In List’ by using the Power of ‘Viral Marketing’ as your engine.

And the best part about using these 3 ‘Viral’ methods I’m about to mention are… they cost virtually Nothing to produce, are Highly targeted, give You INSTANT Credibility and are in constant demand by website owners.

So, with that said, let’s move on to what these 3 ‘Viral’ methods are and how they will benefit you and your List Building efforts.

Method #1. Writing ‘Special Reports’.

- Special Reports work great because they allow you to go into more depth about the Topic or Problem in question where you’ll then be able to lead them to how your Product or Service(or Affiliate product) can fix there current problem.

- They give you Instant Credibility, which builds trust in your customer that you are knowlegdable in your industry.

- Website owners are always looking for quality **Free Stuff** to give away or offer to there Visitors and/or Subscribers.

This is where you could CASH-IN, especially if you make your special report ‘Brandable’. This gives the website owner even MORE incentive to give your Freebie away if they can make Money in the process.

- And your Contact Information will always be inside, no matter what. Meaning, as your report is being passed around the Internet you’ll always be able to lead your potential customer back to your website where they could sign-up for your newsletter and/or read up more about your Products or Services you offer.

Method #2. Putting Together A ‘Free eBook’.

- Free eBooks work great as well and have the same benefits as I outlined through the special report.

The only difference using this approach is, you can put together a free ebook in less time then it would take to produce your special report simply because it doesn’t even have to

be your own material inside, it can be someone else’s.

Just make sure you put together a free ebook with quality information inside.

- And they also allow you to target more then one Product or Service inside because free ebooks are usually a compilation of related articles targetting a particular problem leaving you room to diversify.

Method #3. Writing ‘Articles’.

- Writing Articles is probably ONE of the Best and Most Effective Ways to produce a wave of Viral traffic to your website because every website owner needs FRESH content to feed to there visitors and/or subscribers.

- They also allow you to Target your audience’s problem specifically that they’re dealing with.

- And at the end of the article you have a spot called the ‘Resource Box’ to insert your personal Bio and/or Website information.

Just imagine if your article were to be picked up by some Newsletter Editor with a large list or High Traffic website and they use it as a ‘Featured Article’ in there publication, you could see an INSTANT Surge of targeted traffic to your website overnight.

That’s where your ‘Resource Box’ comes in.(Take a look at how mine is formatted at the end of this article.)

Well, that about sums it up for the 3 MOST powerful ‘Viral Marketing’ methods being used today by most Internet marketers, and for good reason, because they work.

Now, with all that said, what do these 3 ‘Viral’ methods all have in common that’ll put your List Building efforts on ‘Auto-Pilot’?

- They’re in HIGH demand by website owners.

- They’re HIGHLY Targeted.

- They give You INSTANT Credibility in your industry.

- They have YOUR Contact Details leading to Your website.

…and Most important of all, they’re all FREE!

Just think for a minute, by using only ONE of these methods listed above, how it could put your Opt-In list building efforts on ‘Auto-Pilot’.

This article represents just a summarized version of all the different List Building techniques available online, But, in my opinion, these 3 are the most effective.

Accessible web design is a way of building a website so that people who may experience difficulty accessing the information from or purchasing goods or services on a website can do so. These difficulties range from older hardware/software and slower internet connections to people for whom English (or whatever language the website is presented in) is a second langue to people living with disabilities. It is for this last group that most effort is expended when considering accessibility and where this article will primarily focus. However it is important to note that all accessibility issues are interrelated and can help a website do its job better for any potential client.

People with partial or complete visual impairment present perhaps the biggest set of challenges to the web designer. After all, the web is primarily a visual medium. The power of the web, though is that it doesn’t rely on only one way of presenting. A video can have running captions for the hearing impaired. Text can be resized for those who find it too small or colors changed for people who can read it better with different contrasts. And it can be read aloud for those who can’t see it at all.

Many blind and partially sighted internet users rely on what are known as screen readers. These are programs which act a bit like your browser except, as the name implies, they read what is on the page aloud. They allow the user to not only hear the copy but also to navigate through the website, enter information into a purchase form, and even glean data presented in graphs, maps, or other images – if the page has been designed with this in mind.

In order to explain how we need to understand a little of how a web page works. As you probably know, what you see on a webpage is what the author has chosen to show you – to accomplish that she needs to write so called code. To see what it looks like simply look at the top of your browser and find View. There find the View Source (or something similar) and click it. A page will appear which, if you don’t read HTML, looks like gibberish. This is the language of web presentation. Most of that code is there to tell your browser how to present the page. On a given page there are likely to be decorative images like navigation buttons, informative images like maps, text, and navigation. There may also be videos, embedded sounds, animations, complex forms, etc. And if the page has been designed with accessibility in mind then it also contains options so that a person with an older computer or a screen reader can still benefit from

the information or services being presented. This is accomplished by including bits of HTML code which screen readers can find but which may or may not appear on a browser. For instance adding a little to the code which presents and places a picture can also include a verbal description ordinarily it is invisible but a screen reader will find it and read it aloud.

Now this article is about how making all this extra effort will increase sales to everyone. After all, going through the process of website accessibility testing, the first step, and then changing a current site accordingly can’t be free. And though it need not be expensive, true enough it isn’t free.

There are two main reasons why the investment is worthwhile – beyond the moral and legal aspects.

First, adding the bits of code, such as in the case of pictures, gives your designer the chance to add keywords, which search engines look for in a page to determine your site’s ranking. Also, by using quality accessible design techniques your page will be more attractive to search engines. Search engines use software usually called robots or spiders to read a page – visually impaired users use software screen readers to do the same. Most of the elements and techniques which make a page attractive to one are exactly what is needed to be attractive to the other.

Second, one of the things accessible design makes one think about when designing a page is how to streamline the process the page is created for. If something is for sale, discount airline tickets, for instance, then how do we make the pitch, search out the specific tickets, and take the payment information as efficiently as possible. What extras, like nifty graphics, seductive seaside sounds, or blinking headlines help us achieve our goal and which distract? The average web user decides whether to stay on a new web page in the first five seconds and they allow for one or two frustrating moments. Then they leave and find your competition. Removing obstacles and making the next step clear and easy will help everyone do business on your website.

To turn that potential client into a real, paying one you need to use all the tools available. Accessible design is one of the more powerful ones you have. It opens up a whole new potential group of clients with visual impairments or don’t read English too well who need access to internet services but it also makes making that sale to any visitor to your site that much more likely.

I discovered a free service online, that allows me to communicate with people and watched my international sales begin to go through the roof.Did you know that over 50% of all Internet traffic is from non-English speaking countries? Companies like Adobe, Baxter Healthcare, EDS, GE, Microsoft, NetGear, PepsiCo, Socratic Technologies, US Government, XE.com are relying on this type of service already to get more done, with no language barriers.

As the Internet grows in popularity, more users will want to access websites in their native languages. According to a report by the World Intellectual Property Organization, two-thirds of all Internet users by 2004 will be non-English speakers.

Website translation demands total accuracy, specialist cultural knowledge and a high level of organization.

www.freetranslation.com is my best tool for bridging the language gap, making friends and customers around the world, and it also helps increase my international business profits too!

Here is what I do when I get an email from someone in Spanish.

I take the Spanish content, from the email, and I copy it.

Then I go to www.freetranslation.com and in their entry box, I paste the content, and I select which language I want to translate from. For example they offer doing the following languages:

• English to French : French to English

• English to Italian : Italian to English

• English to German : German to English

• English to Spanish : Spanish to English

• English to Portuguese : Portuguese to English

• English to Dutch : Dutch to English

• English to Norwegian

Once I select the languages, I press a button and instantly, I receive a new translation in

the language of my choice.

Now, one thing you must know, this is not a perfect translation word for word, but it does get the point across so you know what your international customers are asking. You will really get a good idea of what the most important questions are.

Now, you can type your response in English, and then hit the “translate” button and turn it into Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, etc. Take the new content, past it into your email as a reply and then send! You just typed in a foreign language you did not even know how to pronounce it or even spell it!

Freetranslation.com offers other premium services too, that are for really small fees. For example, their Platinum service only costs about $8.00 a year, and with it, you get access to a human translator, can customize the “feel” in business language, standard language, or tech speak. Wow!

They also offer a desktop translator, or a chat interface translator which will translate your chat messages right out of Outlook, with a toolbar translator.

Take your business international, and reach 50% more people than you could before by using this great free translation service.

Following are Five Immediate Changes You Can Make to Drive Traffic and Sales Through the Roof

1. Put More Oomph in Your Articles.

Don’t tell the reader what he “could” do; tell him what he MUST do! Which of these sounds more dynamic to you: great copy, or brilliant copy? Speak in an authoritative tone, and you will be regarded as an authority. Go bookmark http://thesaurus.com in your favorites folder right now. You NEED power words to make your copy pop!

2. Tell the Reader Exactly What to Do.

Ever read someone else’s web page and find yourself going into “the zone?” That happens to your reader, too. Snap him into action while he’s caught in the trance. Click Here. Buy Now. Pop Your Email Address in the Subscriber Box Below. Seems almost silly, right? But call to actions are everywhere because they really WORK.

3. For the Love of God, Dumb it Down.

Here’s a big goof that new web writers frequently make: writing copy that’s too abstract, too esoteric, too philosophical. Translation: you MUST dumb it down. This is the web, we’re all distracted as heck. I guarantee, nobody will think less of you if you simplify your concepts and language. Equate your web copy with a highway billboard. Surfers are cruising by, no heavy reading is going on here. Just trust me on this one, Smarty Pants.

4. Tell Them How It’s Done.

Another common

content error: letting your reader know what he CAN do, but never telling him HOW to do it. Today’s web has everyone falling all over themselves to give away free information. If you do not inform your reader with the basics of how to accomplish a task, perform a function or use a new tool, I guarantee he will find out from someone else.

5. Be a Branding Whore!

Spend enough time hanging out in online networks, and you will recognize the Power Players by their ID Badge – that signoff that distinguishes what they do and lists their URL. Brand your business in every single email, article, forum post and blog entry that you write. NEVER assume taht everyone in the group knows you. Someone new will always come by… and can leave again just as quickly. Make your mark everywhere you can.

Web marketing and advertising is so different from traditionalmarketing and advertising that many people with expertise intraditional marketing find the concepts employed in copywritingfor websites and internet marketing to be unusual. Many even denythe reality that web marketing and advertising on the internet isdifferent from traditional marketing and they attempt to applytraditional marketing techniques rather than proven copywritingtechniques that are successful for web marketing and advertising.

The main difference between traditional sales copy and web copyfor web marketing and advertising is that traditional sales copyis usually deemed to be more effective if it is brief and to thepoint. Copywriting for web marketing and advertising; however, isunique in that it is not intended to simply captivate theaudiences’ attention and prompt them to take action such aspicking up the phone or visiting a store.

Copywriting for web marketing and advertising actually serves tofulfill the entire advertising and sales process. Becauseinternet business is generally automated, the sales copy is muchmore than material for web marketing and advertising, it is the”sales person” that introduces website visitors to your productsand services, highlights the features and benefits of yourproducts and services, counters objections, asks the reader toact, and closes the sale.

Because the role of sales copy for web marketing and advertisingis so much more involved than that of traditional sales andmarketing materials, being brief and to the point is not usuallythe best approach to preparing your web copy. Short web copy canbe useful if you have an online catalog and you are simplyproviding product descriptions through your web copy. However, most ecommerce businesses need long copy to persuade websitevisitors to become customers, to make sales, and to generateecommerce revenues.

Crafting useful web copy for your web marketing and advertisingusing long sales copy techniques begins with planning. You mustknow your target audience, prepare a unique selling propositionthat will appeal to that audience while setting you apart fromthe competition, develop a pricing strategy and bonuses that givecustomers the perception of value, and identify keyword terms andphrases that your customers will use when searching for

yourproducts or services.

Using the information from your research and planning efforts, you can begin to write sales copy for your website which will bethe base for your web marketing and advertising as well as yourstorefront. Start your copywriting with the creation of aheadline that grabs the attention of website visitors and asubheading that sparks their interest. Be sure to focus onbenefits to the customer and to build credibility throughout yoursales copy by including testimonials and credentials.

Use bonus items and freebies to add value to your products orservices. Create urgency to prompt action by offering “limitedtime” discounts or special offers. Finally, set your websitevisitors’ minds at ease by providing a strong, no-risk guarantyand ask for the order.

Another technique that is useful for web marketing andadvertising sales copy is to offer a free newsletter or a freereport somewhere within your website copy. While this doesn’tcontribute much to the actual sales process, it will provide youwith an opt-in list of customers and potential customers so youcan continue marketing to those website visitors that do notconvert to buyers on their first visit. If you don’t get thesale, at least you will get a lead if website visitors subscribeto your newsletter or request a free report.

Be sure that a disclosure is made or an option is given thatmakes it clear to website visitors that they are agreeing to beplaced on your opt-in list to receive communications from yourcompany if they subscribe to the newsletter or request the freereport. Using the techniques suggested here in creating yoursales copy for your web marketing and advertising provides astrong foundation for building your internet business.

Is your Web site only in English? If it is, you could be missing out on a huge market, because around two-thirds of Web users don’t have English as their mother tongue.

Communicate with hundreds of millions of consumers around the world

For many businesses – right from the smallest upwards – much of the world is a huge untouched market. How huge? Consider that there are more than 200 million Web users who speak French, Italian, German or Spanish.

If you’re a UK-based business, many of those potential customers – individuals or businesses – are governed by the same European Community regulations and, if you need to deliver a product, increasingly unified international postage costs, and vastly simplified customs regulations make it easy to do business with them.

Even if you’re selling from outside the EC, a translated Web site gives you access to one of the world’s richest markets for both business and consumer goods and services. And, of course, a Spanish version of your site targets US Hispanics and much of South America.

But the EC is just one possibility. Looking to the Far East, Japanese and Chinese Web users account for yet another 200 million people, or more, all potential customers for your goods and services. Which markets could use your products or services?

Around the world, content is king

While photographs and design can carry some meaning, the words on your Web site are what really sell. They’re

the most powerful weapons in your online marketing campaign. So you need to be sure of having translated content that is at least equal in quality to your English site. You’ll need professional translation services from an agency that’s capable of working with your kind of content.

Professional translation services are within your budget

The good news is that it probably costs less than you think to use high quality translation services. Many leading translation services are leveraging the benefits of Web and other technologies to reduce overheads and reduce the time take to produce highly readable and effective translations, so they’re affordable for even the smallest businesses.

So how do you start? I’d recommend you select one market, and test the water. Get some advice from business groups or government about the rules and regulations you’ll face, then find a translation agency with experience with your kind of business.

Look at their Web site and examples of their work. Is their level of English good? Then find a friend or a contact on the Internet whose first language is the one you’re interested in. If they’re happy with the standard of the translations, you’re ready to go. Select the agency with the highest standards, because their words will be the public’s window in on your company in your new market.

There are new opportunities to create huge wealth right NOW in America and around the world. Like the railroad in the 1920’s, that presented the common man with tremendous wealth creation opportunities, the INTERNET is NOW ready and willing to bless you with earning a substantial income every year staying at home…and even in your spare time.

If you work at it full time, the sky is the limit. Those who have a little foresight will grasp this opportunity to enjoy the gigantic leaps in its growth and the prosperity it offers before it gets crowded.

For starters, the way shrewd operators are making big money is by selling products and services to others…nationwide and worldwide… on the internet…and it works like gangbusters. They do not have a physical storefront. What they have is a website—A virtual reality.

Well, now that we know this fact, here are the steps in creating a profitable website that can lead to tremendous wealth in the form of big checks you could be receiving week after week in your mailbox at home.

First, select a category of products you want to sell. It is more motivating if you choose something you like to sell, rather than choosing something on a whim or what others told you to sell.

Better still, you can find out what is in demand and go that route. Bear in mind that if a product is in demand, the major companies for that product will have a major share of the market. You, being a little guy should attempt to capture a smaller segment of this market. NOTE: If the big boys are in the market you bet it is a billion dollar industry and they are making money but you can still carve out a lucrative portion without hurting their feelings. There is enough for everybody. So, don’t worry about competition. Let us continue.

Second, go to “Yahoo search marketing” website, formerly Overture—but now they combined forces— and plug in the category word for the product you want to sell. Follow the instructions and enter your keyword. Say it is “flowers,” plug this in the field and a long list of similar words would come up. Pick the keyword terms that more closely describe your product or service. At the end of this exercise you will determine which keywords are most suitable for your product or services and would use these to create content for your website site.

Third, go to yahoo or Google and enter your product category word and keyword and you’ll see many websites selling similar products. You will also see sponsor ads appearing on the right hand side of the screen. They are the ones who paid to put their ads there. If there are up to eight entries, then your product or service shows great promise for profit. If not, do some more search using yahoo search marketing in the second step above, until you come up with a winner.

Fourth, once you have done this little research, you are ready to develop a domain name and register it. While there are many registry companies offering low cost domain names registration; work from home business domain registration; home business career, best home based businesses or internet based home businesses registration opportunities and other strategic internet marketing strategies, there are only a few of them that offers professional services and exceptional support 24/7 in a timely manner. You don’t want to have your site disabled when there is a problem with a hosting server. You’ll lose sizable revenues. You do not want that to happen to your site. Prevent this at all costs. Find a good registry and hosting company You won’t regret it! And, don’t forget, it is wise to register all possible names that are related to your site and either build web pages around them or park them to keep the competition out…

Reason: When your site becomes famous and producing huge incomes, and if you did not register closely related domain names, others would possibly register these names and steal your revenue stream. You do not want to do the research and development only to lose the benefits to a thief.

Fifth, you need to create a website that is crawler friendly. Your business needs a lot of visitors. The more visitors and clicks you have on your site the greater the potential for you

to get them to order your product or serves. This means you’ll make more money. You can hire a web design outfit to build your site or build it yourself. It is a very rewarding exercise. When you do it yourself, you’ll understand all the mechanics of what makes it work. When you are making tons of money, you can then hire others to build your other revenue producing websites. But, you’ll be in the driver’s seat, as you will know all the tricks of the trade and they cannot “put the wool over your eyes,” if however, you are not inclined to build it your self, then you can click the links at the bottom of this article and you’ll be on your way.

Sixth, you’ll need a reputable web hosting company that will be available to you as soon as you have a server problem or want some creative solution for your new ideas and other web site development and managing issues as outlined in the fourth step. They must have the capability to professionally address: website security issues, virus protection, access to their control panels and simplify navigation to and from your site and their server locations, ftp and other important issues.

Seventh, once your site it up and running, you need to get FREE listing in directories like Alta Vista, Yahoo, Google etc., some of the major ones. Visit their site and proceed with their directions for doing this. Conditions change sometimes so you have to visit their sites to so if they still offer their services. By listing with them you will broaden your internet exposure and boost traffic to your site.

Eight, soon thereafter, or at the same time, get as many reciprocal links as you can. As many as fifty reciprocal links are required to generate good traffic on your site. Traffic means dollars—big dollars. This may take some time to do if you do it manually. You can also do it using special software. Search on the internet and you’ll find some god ones that automate this process.

Within weeks, sometimes more, you will find your site get indexed on the internet. As soon as someone enters your keywords on the internet to do a search for a product they are looking for, a long list of sites come up and your site could be in the top 10% if your site is built correctly. If not, you will have to continually review your site for content, links, keyword placement and other search engine optimization strategies to get a higher rank. And, with a little patience and dedication you’ll get to the top if you do it right. I guarantee it.

Finally, as you tweak your site you’ll see your rank get higher and higher when you go to “Alexa” site and check you site ranking. Another approach is to get ranked quickly is to bid on some keywords you identified, on Overture, and shortly, your chances are that Yahoo/overture will index your site and you are off and running, so to speak—to get your site ranked quickly—and to get huge exposure on the superhighway.

And folks, all of this can be done in your spare time from home. Whether it is cold and snowing, roads are blocked with traffic or you hate your work and boss, you have the potential to make a comfortable living in your pajamas if you care, every day of the year.

This potential of the internet to build an automatic wealth machine is only limited by the boundaries of your imagination.

When you are coming up with your masterful headlines you cannot forget to test. I know many people feel their headline is brilliant and there is no way their headline could be a failure. Well, think again! Without testing your headline you really have no idea how your audience will respond to your sales letter. A weak headline can break a sale in no time. Lost sales means lost time and more importantly lost revenues for your business. So, in order to ensure you池e producing the best headline possible for your product or service finding out what appeals to your audience is essential. After all, they are the ones who are purchasing from you and you want to make sure you speak to them in the way they want to be spoken to. They need to be able to relate to what it is you are offering them. They need to feel understood.

Basically, the best way to test your headline is to take a piece of paper or open a new Word document and begin typing variations of your headline. Then go to Google Adwords and run the various ads with the different headlines to see which headline converts better and gets a better response rate. A lot of people use this method and find it to be very effective.

However, what I do is test my headlines on squeeze pages. Actually, I知 running a squeeze page test right now. What I知 doing

is I知 basically seeing what my conversion rate is. I let the particular squeeze page with my specific headline run for a couple of weeks, and then I go and add another headline and so on. I知 not doing a true ABC split test, I知 not using any special software or anything, but I am doing that to see which headline produces the best results for what it is that I知 promoting at the time.

Most importantly make sure you find the right environment to begin writing your headlines. Make sure it痴 quite and you have no distractions. Once you do this you池e definitely off to a good start. Once you have your headlines and you feel fairly comfortable with them you池e ready to begin testing out your efforts. If you always remember to test and track your headlines, this is the best way to determine whether you池e making the most out of your time and money!

With the huge success Google’s Adsense has been reaping, there are now only a handful of sites you’ll see that doesn’t feature Adsense on their sites. Everyone is hoping that they could make huge earnings from this pay-per-click affiliate program scheme Google has launched.

While there are many success stories (they are true) of sites that have generated good income from Adsense, there are still some sites that couldn’t grasp the real way of making an earning from Adsense.

This is because many people have failed to generate the needed factors to create a successful site that compliments the features Adsense provides. Many webmasters just put up or create mediocre sites and place Adsense on their site and just sits back and waits for the cash to roll in.

If that is the mentality of a site owner, then he won’t earn from Adsense. Remember, a mediocre site will also get mediocre earnings.

To finally realize the Adsense dream, a webmaster must produce a site that has the factors and characteristics needed to generate the traffic and clicks it needs to be profitable. There are many things a webmaster needs to do to achieve this and be one of the millions of sites who have successfully done so. But there are so much more things a site owner has failed to do to make their site more Adsense friendly.

Here are five reasons why many Adsense sites don’t make money.

1) There are no good keywords on the site.

Many sites have failed to do the very essence of search engine optimization, Good Keywords. The internet has many websites competing for the attention of the “netizens” and many sites contain the same or almost the same subjects, topics or niches. To date, Google is searching at over three billion sites; good keywords can get you a good lead above all the other sites.

It is essential that you research well on finding the good keywords your site can use to generate the traffic and get a high ranking on the search engines results. If many internet users are directed to your site, you get a huge opportunity to get great traffic. With traffic comes the profit.

In making money you must spend some. Invest in a good program that searches good and proper keywords for your site. These keywords that people are looking for changes and varies, a good keyword searcher is an

investment that just keeps on giving.

2) The site doesn’t provide a good niche.

To get the attention of the people, you must provide a site that can perk up the interest of the people. Adsense works well if you maintain a good number of traffic, you have to keep the people’s interest on your site and have a group of people to keep coming back to your site and have them recommend it.

You must also find a niche wherein these groups of people are interested in. Find the right niche and you’ll find the right group of people that are willing to spend some money.

3) The site owner doesn’t maintain or update their site.

You can only maintain the interest of a person for a short period of time. Many websites have failed to keep up the traffic they generate for their failure to keep their site updated. Immerse yourself in your niche and try to find out what’s new and what’s hot.

You have to serve something new to the people or if not, try to keep abreast with the developments of your niche or maybe add some sub-niches on your site that still pertains to your niche to get new traffic and keep the attention of your clients in your site.

4) Some website owners don’t provide the full attention to their Adsense sites.

Many people just see their sites as a way to earn some extra money. You have to treat Adsense sites as a full size business to make it big. With the heavy competition you have, a good webmaster should treat their site as if it is their main source of income but still maintain a good schedule of their time.

5) Many webmasters have failed to devout time and research to their Adsense site.

Many elements are needed to build a successful Adsense site. Good keywords and the right niches can roll in the dough, but this takes time and effort. It is imperative to devout a certain amount of time in looking for ways to develop your Adsense site.

The internet is abound of sites that could help your own site. A little time, money and hard work can spell the huge difference between a successful Adsense site and a mediocre one.
